The Clinic Director of LA Functional Medicine, Dr Jeffrey James D.C. has been in practice West Los Angeles since 1987. He has several hundred hours of post graduate training  in neurology and functional medicine. He has been an instructor for the Pettibon system based in Gig Harbor,Wa. and has taught neurology for Pettibon instructors and practitioners. He was one of two lead trainers at the L.A. personal growth center in los angeles for many years, and is known for his considerable knowledge, warmth , humor and directness.  He has been on Geraldo Rivera, Inside Edition, and KFI radio.You can listen to him now on Saturdays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on am1150 ktalk radio, where he will be found discussing health issues ranging from  spinal stenosis, and bulging and herniated discs, to shoulder injuries to type 2 diabetes, thyroid conditions and neuropathy. 

Dr. Abe Grosswasser  has been in practice for over ten years, and joins our staff from Massachussets, where he helped run two succesful decompression clinics after returning from several years in Italy. His experience in Italy where he ran a large chiropractic clinic treating hundreds of patients each week helped him develop his adjusting skills ina  few years that might normally take many more years. He brings with him great experience, vast knowledge and a deep passion to make a difference in peoples lives and to help heal as many people as possible.
 
David Elliot has been a practicing nutritionist for over 20 years. He has been an instructor for one of the fastest growing nutriceutical companies in the USA, helping to train hundreds of doctors in Functional Medicine. Over the last few years he was, and continues to be the "go to guy" for doctors around the country who are trying to help their patients regain their health with functional medicine. Each week he recieves blood work from doctors offices around the country, and tells them how and where to apply their treatment to get the  patients the best results.  For years he has been the man behind the scenes making many MD's. D.O's, DC's and acupuncturists look brilliant. Recognizing his skills, knowledge and caring for humanity, Dr. James brought him on board to put him on the front line of treating patients, and now his true talent can be seen daily in the faces of the patients he treats. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice and we are lucky to have him join us.
